Travels in Holy Socks
Holy Socks were at the Christian Resources Exhibition in Harrogate.
Then it was a trip north to Lairg to have a very enjoyable evening with the Guilds of
Sutherland in Rogart with a stop off at the Rallia Visitors Centre on the way.
Much rain in the north meant an extra night at the Manse and the enjoyable hospitality of Lesley,
Myra and Christian Goskirk.
It also meant a visit to the first night of the joint youth club in Lairg.
Thanks also the Bannermans Garage in Tain for the MOT on the Holy Socks van and
to niece Julie, husband Stewart and children Aaron, Eilidh and Alasdair for accommodating
me at a couple of hours notice!
A visit to the Biblical Garden in Elgin completed the recent travels and thanks to those
who showed me round this place of quiet inspiration beside the ancient Cathedral.
