If your church or organisation is looking for new
avenues to explore and different ways to introduce
the Christian faith to friends and neighbours,
then invite them to take a journey with Holy Socks.
Hear the stories, discover the message and wear
the socks. It's fun, it's thought provoking,
it's faith-filled and it works like this ..........
We send a box of Holy Socks - a mixture of sizes and designs.
Posters to advertise Holy Socks.
Either include a Holy Socks stall at your event
or have a stand alone "Holy Socks Event,"
We will send a script to tell the story of Holy Socks.
You'll need to edit this for the time you have and the
designs and stories you'd like to feature.
You'll need someone to be the narrator and
people to read the Holy Socks stories.
The stories appeal to all ages so it's a great "all age"
event or can be used by youth or senior organisations.
Holy Socks are also a brilliant way to introduce
the Christian faith. Their disarming humour makes
people smile, making it easy for people to accept
an invitation to discover more.
The idea of life as a journey is very familiar these
days and Holy Socks are an ideal way to take
things one step further to life as pilgrimage.
And for those who enjoy pilgrimage at a pace, find
out more about rallying with Holy Socks.
You're raise far more than money but for each pair
sold,your organisation keeps a percentage.
Holy Socks have been used to raise funds for
many ventures including sending young folk to the
World Youth Day of Prayer in Australia 2009;
funding a trip to Albania; from the north of
Scotland we helped send a student nurse
to Africa and even helped bring pilgrims from
Surrey to the Isle of Whithorn, just down the
road from Holy Socks in Newton Stewart.
It's a good combination of practically helping people
to "do" and also encouraging people to think about
their faith (or lack of it); life as a journey and a life of
faith as pilgrimage.
We'll be happy to send more of any designs or sizes
which you run out of and you're free to return any
unsold socks. And of course, it's always a good idea
to provide a cup of tea or coffee and some biscuits.
