Based in Scotland, it was inevitable that we would at some point produce a kilt sock. Given that often kilts are worn for the celebrations along life's journey, whether it be a birth, a presentation or wedding and that these events often involve dancing, the quotation from Psalms is ideal.

There is also the celebration and mourning at the end of a life.

I've been told that it is a shock to some people to discover that God takes delight in them, but in my experience, God most certainly does and that is really worth celebrating! If worn at a presentation of a trophy or other prize, these socks might assist in the recipient maintaining a bit of humility!

The quotation for the cross design Holy Kilt Socks is taken from Luke 15, 24 – the words of the father welcoming home the son who has wasted his inheritance and then came sadly, guiltily home, to receive an amazing welcome of love and warmth.

For Christians the big celebration is the risen Jesus and our homecoming to God, a Father who is always willing to welcome any of us who want to come home and who will indeed welcome us with open arms and an open, loving heart.
