Our third design illustrating this well known and much loved story of Jonah and his encounter with the Whale.

This was the first design to have a story leaflet to accompany it - and I didn’t write it.

The illustrations below were painted for a “Retreat around Jonah,” which I did as part of “The Life of Prayer” created by the Rev. David Goodbourne and run many years ago by the Scottish Churches Open College.

There have been several stories over the years. A couple are given below.
